Bacon sausages

These are quite easy to make and very delicious.

1 pound of ground beef (I used free-from from Loblaw's)
1 pkg bacon (I used free-from from Loblaw's)
shredded cheese of choice
steak rub of choice (I used Montreal style rub)

roll out the ground beef between two sheets of parchment paper until 1/4 inch thick (into a rectangle shape)
sprinkle generously with rub
cut into 8 rectangle sections
sprinkle shredded cheese into each section.

roll up each section (into long tubes) and then wrap with two slices of bacon (I wrap length wise first then wrap around to seal in the beef and cheese). use toothpicks to secure the bacon to the beef if needed.
place all rolls on baking sheet and bake in 350 F oven until bacon is cooked, about 30 minutes. Turn over about half way through. (adjust baking time to your preference)
Broil for 5-10 minutes to crisp the bacon.
Two are quite filling.

You could insert a skewer and place on the grill (indoor grill or outdoor grill).
