Today our dean's council had lunch at a Lebanese restaurant. I had baba ghannouj for the first time. It was amazing. They fire-roast the eggplant for two days so it has a nice woody/smoky flavor. OMG.


Of course I ate it by the spoonful and didn't eat any of the soft, warm pitas.


I bought an order to bring home. Tonight for dinner we had cauliflower, broccoli, carrots and baba ghannouj. I had some left over salad with chicken and tzatziki sauce.


Divine flavors! Low carb & grain free.


They also had a home made yogurt dip called Lebanee. I brought some home for DH as I'm not all that fond of yogurt. He said it was great.
