Thank you Jan and Happy Mother's Day to you and all the other moms on board.

My DD is making dinner for me today (grilling) and she made the effort to find out about the foods that I can eat now that I've gone WB. I thought that was so considerate of her. She's not (yet) convinced that going WB is for her, but respects that I'm happy with it and it's working for me.

I hope everyone has a happy and healthy day.  :)

Thanks, Jan, and happy Mother's Day to all the moms out there.

We're off to my mom's for dinner, bearing gifts of dark chocolate covered almonds and cherries. She's 94 and healthy, and in true French style, eats a little dark chocolate every single day. My eldest is taking me out to dinner on Tuesday, and my youngest arrives on Thursday with her fiance so we can prepare for their engagement party on Saturday. I'm a lucky mom!

What a glorious day I had!  Brunch with my children and in-laws.....I maneuvered the tables very well as the GF was clearly marked!  I did great until half way through the Bloody Mary the kids ordered me was found to contain wheat!!!  The whole dinner went straight through me three hours after arriving home!  Oh well.....live and learn!  But then I was able to FaceTime with my one year old grandson in Vancouver, so it was a good day.....amen
