Fried Chicken Recipe
« on: May 16, 2013, 10:18:46 AM »
I found the video on Youtube.  She says to cook it for 10 mins but I don't see how it could get cooked that fast so I cooked it for 30 minutes (turning over every 5 mins).

Fried Chicken Recipe:

Ingredients:
*4 organic eggs (I used regular eggs)
1 cup Garbonzo flour
1 cup Tapioca flour
cup Brown rice flour
Organic Coconut oil (put in enough oil to cover the bottom 1/2 of the chicken)
Spices and salt (optional)
Chicken (I used medium size chicken legs)
*May substitute eggs for cup ground flaxseed + cup water

Recipe:
-Whisk 4 eggs in a large bowl
-In a separate bowl, mix the dry ingredients
-Dip chicken in egg, then into the dry mixture
-Make sure to heat your coconut oil to a sufficient heat before adding chicken.

Did it have a crunchy outside?   I can't seem to make anything crunchy.

The skin was kind of like KFC orginal fried chicken.  A little crunch but not too much.
