Hi all,

Just want to say thanks again for reporting spam when you see it.  It really helps.      :)

And for who don't know, you do this with that tiny "Report to moderator" link at lower right.

It presents a dialog where you can add a short explanation, like "blatant spam", "entirely off-topic for thread/forum", "malicious link(s)", "user ID spoofing", etc.

If you see more of those spam recipes, let me know.   I deleted that last one.   They were promoting a site and the responses were spam responses as well.

I thought about responding to that post yesterday, but wasn't sure what I would say, other than "What are you people thinking?"  Decided that would be rude, so I opted to not post at all!   :)   I still appreciate this site a lot, and check every day for new info posted.

I often wonder what the motivation
and mindset is of people who would
take the time to post on LCHF type or
wheat free sites and try to promote
the status quo.  Could there really
be people who get paid to do that?
I understand that big food/big ag/
pharmaceuticals etc have a huge
amount to lose, but really, people
would do things like that?

Bill,

There is no way of understanding their motivation.  Just think of them as having grain brains on a sugar high....their thinking is "off" and their decision making abilities are compromised.  Dr. Daniel Amen, MD has written about the changes in your brain and how it really effects your life and health.  Dr. Perlmutter's classic book "Grain Brain" also discusses this phenomenon of behavior, critical thinking, poor decision making etc. all caused by grains, sugars and consistently high blood sugars.  Maybe these people are paid to do this to promote products.

I love how these spammer create multiple accounts and have conversations amongst themselves, as if it were a real topic.  Geez.

Thanks again for reporting the last post.  :)
