Bisquick we can use!

Oh Happy Day!  Maria Emmerich just posted her Bisquick recipe on her blog.  She says it is a 1 to 1 substitution for the Bisquick we grew up with.


2 1/2 C. blanched almond flour
1/3  C. Jay Robb unflavored protein powder or whey
2 TBS cream of tartar
2 TBS Swerve or a drop of stevia glycerite
1 tsp sea salt
1/2 C. coconut oil or butter

In mixing bowl, stir all dry ingredients together until well combined.  Cut in butter or coconut oil until it looks like coarse meal.  Store in airtight container.
You can freeze this!  You can double or triple the recipe for convenience.   :)

Remember those chicken pot pies?  If I could only find a can of condensed soup with ingredients we can eat!  Of course we can use a bit of broth, heavy cream and a thickener instead.
