New to forum - wheat free almost a year and in need of a BEER!

 8) Diagnosed with endometriosis, given a couple of options which all suck.... so went wheat free and it seems to be good - but I miss beer really badly - just the option to go to a bar and order a beer. I like a wheat free craft beer from Strathroy Ontario, 1812 IPA but moved from there to Vancouver Island... and my supplies are gone :'( looking for an alternative - I get stupid on spirits and have the worst hangover with wine.... any suggestions for a beer that is available easily in a pub?  Thanks!

Don't know about availability in Vancouver, but Omissions is very good as is Damm Daura. Both actually taste like beer.

Bard's is also GF,
as is Bud Lite (made from rice, tho).

All the GF beers I've tried are still relatively high in net carbs (around the 15 gram budget for whole meal).

I tried Glutenberg but it doesn't quite hit the spot, better than nothing though - I have tried Bards and Greens - what I would like is something mainstreem I could order in a pub without having to search the coolers!  8)

I was under the impression Bud light and Bud Select was pretty much gluten free, however Mich Ultra is not.

I tried the Omission last week, and found it to be very good.  I'd rather have a glass of wine though.
