Want to know what ingredients are in the food you eat?
« on: July 06, 2015, 02:50:41 PM »
Stumbled on this site while looking to see what was in Veg-Sal. Going to see if I can create my own mixture for a safer one.

Anyone out there have a recipe for something similar to this one?

Here it is:

http://www.foodfacts.com/ci/products-nutritional-information-a-to-z

Don't know why the above didn't turn into a link. Copied it correctly too.

Rita, please try this & see if a link comes up for you. Thank you.

That's a convenient single source for ingredients and NF panels, but completely ignore the 'grades' they assign.

Same is true for the grades on nutritiondata.self.com, which usually lacks ingredient detail, and is less comprehensive on named brands, but may have better coverage of commodity and raw foods.
