I'm Starving...And Turning Into A Chicken.

 >:( I am 3 days into the wheat belly diet and have eaten 36 eggs (no BS), 3 large bags of vegetables, many hamburger patties, steaks, and pouches of tuna. I am starving! I'm heading to the grocery store to buy almond flour, whole almonds, olives, apples, etc.

Is there anything else I should buy that will quell the hunger? I want to succeed with this, but I need something more filling.

HELP!

Are you drinking water?  Often times hunger can be mistaken for thirst, as there is water in food.


Also try adding more fat to the diet.  You are high on protein.   Trying adding few tablespoons of coconut oil to your coffee.

Yes, fat.  Fatty cuts of meat, oils, lard.  I'd leave
out the apples for now.  Any sugar will cause you
to crave more and apples are high sugar fruits.
Try going without any fruit until you get adjusted.


Carbohydrates are carbon and water (hence the
word).  If you are used to eating much carbs,
you will need to replace the water you are now
not getting.  Last of all, salt.  You need it and
likely more than you think.


Stop with all the veggies.  More fat, fewer carbs.
You don't need 12 eggs/day of protein.  So, still
eat lots of eggs, but throw away the whites (or
give them to your dog or cat.  They can tolerate
the protein better than you can.


And, did we mention:  More fat?

NOW FOODS has a product called MCT OIL which is available in capsule form.  This is the lauric acid from coconut oil.  These pills come in handy if you aren't using enough coconut oil.  Like Bill and Rita mentioned, the key to feeling full is to eat enough healthy fats.  You are at the start of your body changing,  Follow the recommendations they've given and make sure you really are drinking at least half your body weight in ounces of water.  This is really important.

Sounds like withdrawal from wheat addiction.
The body is saying "hey, that's not wheat - eat something else".
