Sleep problems lately...

so, we started this WOE on Monday. Tues, Wed and Thur nights I have not been sleeping well.  I have been far too alert!  Takes me a long time to fall asleep and then I wake up far more often than usual for me.  Is that a common reaction?  I don't mind being more alert during the day, but nights are for sleeping!

Taking 400 mg magnesium before bedtime has been my routine, and help me sleep well.  If that doesn't help, maybe check out melatonin, there are pros and cons, my daughter swears by it!

I agree with Barb about the magnesium.   You might also try reducing protein before bed and instead having more fat.

Thanks. I'll give magnesium a try! 
Melatonin doesn't seem to help me.
