What is the translation to the name Verbissene in this case? Google Translate gave a few different meaning.

The first thing that comes to mind, when thinking of a good translation for "verbissene" is "like a dog with a bone" … Biss is bite. And verbissen means biting into something and not letting go. The word is used in a negative way for a female who is unrelenting and inflexible, stubborn even. I checked what google said, and seems doggedly is the word they suggest, it's not really in my vocabulary, but I'm guessing it means the same thing? Germans have words that other languages don't have a word for, which is why they sometimes borrow it. Schadenfreude comes to mind ...
