We love this tomatillo salsa by My Brother's Salsa. It's located in NW Arkansas and we've been using it for several years. Our local Walmart now carries it. We use it for making quickie guacamole...just avocado and the salsa (you can add sea salt and cilantro if desired, but we don't). I also have been using it to cook my pork loin in the crockpot...just salt and pepper and a jar of tomatillo salsa over it...delicious...3 hours on high & 3 hours on low. Then I pull it apart w/ two forks, pour the juice over it then use it however I want.
INGREDIENTS
Tomatillos, Fresh Onions, Fresh Serrano Peppers, Sea Salt, Fresh Garlic, Key Lime Juice, Fresh Cilantro.- See more at:

Hi Deanna,
Is this sauce "hot"? I saw their web site but no mention of heat. Most hot chile type foods, especially Indian curries, just give me heartburn. I was planning to go to The Fresh Market this afternoon and can purchase some there.

No, it's not hot Barbara. Don't know about their other flavors. The only other one we've tried is their original and it comes in a mild I believe. But we love the tomatillo, so we've stuck w/ that.

Deanna,
Wonderful! Can't wait to taste it. Chili peppers give a nice flavor to everything as long as they aren't hot, I really like using them for additional flavor in my sauces and stews. Yum!
