What a difference a year makes.
« on: February 02, 2014, 05:51:49 PM »
Last year's SuperBowl snacks:
Tortilla chips & Velveeta Rotel,
pepperoni pizza, BBQ potato chips and Knorr vegetable soup mix,
some carrots & celery.

We ate all night.

Tonight's SuperBowl snacks:
Crunchy Chips http://www.satisfyingeats.com/savory-breads/crunchy-chips/
Grain Free onion dip (sour cream, mayonnaise, chopped onion, Mrs. Dash original seasoning)
Velveeta Free dip (cheddar/monterrey jack, whipping cream, salsa)
Dr. Davis' flaxseed crackers (from WB book)
Celery & Carrots

We ate only one (small) plate. We're full.

Unbelievable.

It was heavy on dairy, but we hardly ate any. Especially in comparison.

Great job!  I managed to avert temptation entirely by going to a concert instead.   :)  But after the struggle to get to the venue in tonight's terrible weather, it was very hard not to head straight for the bar when we arrived at the venue.  Or straight out to one on the way home.  But here I am, home, sober, and mildly hungry but ready for bed.  Hope everyone else had a safe and fun Super Bowl Sunday!

I had drumsticks, pulled pork and coleslaw.  I was stuffed.
