Title: Yep, organic milk really is better for you than regular milk
Post by: Linda R on December 10, 2013, 05:46:28 PM
Wow, and on the Today Show as well!
This is bound to reverberate across the agri/business world.
This could be just the kind of story to really give the organic food business a healthy boost!
Just what we need!
Once dairy catches on, then veggies, fruits, and grass fed meat will follow.

"If organic milk is out of your budget, conventional milk is still OK – but choose whole milk, rather than skim or 2 percent. "The heart-healthy fatty acids in milk are part of milk's overall fat content,” Benbrook says. “This benefit will be reduced about 50 percent when people choose 2 percent fat milk, and by about two-thirds when purchasing skim or low-fat dairy products.”

And perhaps this paragraph will help to finally kill the fat phobia here.

And maybe people will realize that what the cows are fed, really does make a difference in the nutrition of their food consumption.
