Maybe I missed the information somewhere, but I've been tyring to figure out how long it takes for wheat to be out of your system once you stop eating it. I know that all the littel residual effects might take years.. but in terms of not eating it.. for the most part, how long does it take? I want to know that I could keep track of WF days. Thanks.

General Discussion / Omega/Juicers/Flour making

Hi there,

I was wondering if anyone else on here has had any luck with making their own almond flour. I recently found out that my Omega 8006 juicer does a find job of turning almonds into meal, however it's not quite fine enough to create flour.

Does anyone have any experience with milling their own flour at all? I don't have a vitamix unfortunately, I hear that would do the trick. I live in Winnipeg/MB, and so far the only almond meal source I've found was a $10 3C bag in a health food store, and it's not even flour.  :-[

Hi there folks...

I'm just starting this whole Wheat Free/Sugar Free lifestyle. I'm hoping to blend juicing/green smoothies together with a wheat free lifestyle for the better.

As for getting started, I know that having food premade, and pre planned is the key to my success. My kitchen is fairly well stocked with a number of WF essentials.. and today (in addition to remembering and honoring those who made today as I know it possible), is set aside for a weeks wort of food prep, experimenting,  and digging in so to speak.

My main challenge: creating a week long meal plan, as well as dehydrated veggie pulp crackers/WF snacks.

Does anyone know of a place that will help build meal plans, or can you suggest your go to staples for various meals, including any make ahead/freeze meals you prepare for the week? Thanks!
