Thanks for the replies.

I understand that my food dollar will go longer after I've brought in the various ingredients and stop buying so much pre-processed stuff.

I started this thread because I've noticed a wide variety of prices out there and was wondering if I was missing out on the websites/stores with the best deals.  So far Honeyvillegrain and netrition.com are the best I've found.

For instance, someone mentioned Nuts.com.  It appears that buying in bulk (ie 25 lbs of almond flour or Xylitol) is indeed a better deal than the sites I've used so far.  I'm not sure how I'd store that much stuff currently, but I definitely appreciate the tip!  The flat shipping at Netrition is nice though.  Can't beat it at 4.95.  My first mock order at Nuts.com came out to about 14.50 in shipping.

Thanks again and keep it coming! :)

Hello everyone!

My wife and I are just starting our WB journey.  As mentioned in the book, the cost for many of the commonly used ingredients is fairly high.  Please share in this thread where you've found the best prices.  For instance, I've bought almond flour at honeyvillegrain for $7.60/lb (including shipping), and notice you can buy it 25 lb at a time for closer to $5.60/lb.  Unblanched almond flour is available at Trader Jjoes for 3.99/lb.  I've also found some fairly decent prices at Netrition.com.

What are your favorite, affordable sources for stuff like Xylitol, Almond Flour, Coconut Flour, Fruit extracts, Erithrytol, Stevia, etc?
