General Discussion / Other Wheat forums

Does anyone have any other sites they visit for advise. While I enjoy this forum, the daily posts are low and not a lot of information from others yet. Until it gets more traffic, I was wondering if anyone had other places they visit. I enjoy reading about peoples daily walk while off of wheat but need more content.

Introduce Yourself to the Wheat Free Forum / Wheat Belly Book
« on: May 06, 2014, 11:07:28 AM »
I read this book like a madman over the past several days. I might have read too fast and missed this part. First off, I have been on the Atkins diet many times. Lost a lot, gained a lot. When I read this book, I was really pumped up because knocking off wheat seemed doable. I read all the dangers and really was pumped up but then suddenly, a new chapter appeared that talked about avoiding all these other carbohydrates and all the sudden I felt like I was reading the Atkins book again. Question.

  • Is this book divided into two parts? Part one is all about getting rid of wheat and you can succeed having a more healthy life and lose weight and if you want get even more healthier, reduce carbohydrates even further?
  • Or is this all about following wheat and reducing carbohydrates, which seems closer to Atkins.

Introduce Yourself to the Wheat Free Forum / Salad Dressings
« on: May 05, 2014, 06:10:06 PM »
I downloaded this list of acceptable foods at fast food joints. The 10 most popular Gluten free menus of all time. At McDonald's, the writer says the Newman's dressing is free yet on foods to avoid, they say salad dressings. I am a newbie so any advise would truly help.
