I would describe the taste as more 'green' than true buttery avocado. Don't ask me what I mean by 'green' but that's the only thing I can come up with and hubby agrees; maybe more like a strong olive oil. It was very mild and disappeared into the food if it was strongly flavored (like the pancakes with syrup; I make almond flour ones). If you like avocados and olives themselves you should like it, we do.
